Cabinet meeting underway at Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Council of Ministers is underway this evening at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli convened the regular meeting to discuss the government’s ongoing work. The meeting is also expected to make some decisions and appointments.

The session may take up matters related to Oli’s upcoming foreign visits. The Prime Minister is preparing to travel to China on August 30 to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Similarly, he is scheduled to visit India on September 16.
