Gold prices fall, silver inches up



KATHMANDU: The price of gold declined in the domestic market on Monday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of fine gold dropped by Rs 300 per tola compared to Sunday. Gold, which was traded at Rs 197,500 per tola yesterday, is being traded at Rs 197,200 per tola today.

Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight increase. The federation reported that silver rose by Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 2,355 from Sunday’s Rs 2,350 per tola.
