Speaker meets President ahead of Global Speakers’ Conference



KATHMANDU: Speaker of the House of Representatives Dev Raj Ghimire visited President Ram Chandra Paudel at Sheetal Niwas on Thursday to brief him on Nepal’s upcoming participation in the World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.

According to the President’s Secretariat, Speaker Ghimire informed President Paudel about the global parliamentary summit scheduled to take place in Geneva from July 29 to 31.

Ghimire is set to depart for Geneva on July 27 to attend the high-level gathering of parliamentary leaders from around the world.
