Deuba calls meeting of NC office bearers

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has convened a meeting of the party’s office bearers today at his residence in Budhanilkantha.

The meeting will also include NC ministers currently serving in the coalition government. Deuba’s decision comes at a time of growing dissatisfaction within the party regarding the government’s performance.

While several senior Congress leaders have taken an increasingly critical stance toward the government, Deuba has maintained a more measured and conciliatory approach.
