Heavy rain hits Lalitpur’s Tikathali area, residents urged to stay alert



KATHMAND: Heavy rainfall has been reported in the Tikathali area of Lalitpur today. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, moderate to heavy rain has been recorded at the Tikathali Rainfall Monitoring Center and surrounding areas, with more precipitation likely.

In response, the Department has issued a public notice urging residents to take necessary precautions.

Those living near riverbanks or traveling along riverside roads are advised to remain alert, as the water levels in the Godavari River and other smaller rivers in the area may rise significantly.
