KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Sunday.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 136.05, while the selling rate is NPR 136.65. One European euro is being bought at NPR 154.51 and sold at NPR 155.19.
Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling stands at NPR 183.67 and the selling rate at NPR 184.48. Similarly, one Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 164.85 and sold at NPR 165.58.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is NPR 87.94 and the selling rate is NPR 88.33. One Canadian dollar is being traded at NPR 98.50 for buying and NPR 98.93 for selling.
The buying and selling rates for one Singapore dollar are NPR 105.81 and NPR 106.28, respectively.
Likewise, as per the NRB, the buying rate for one Thai baht is NPR 4.17, and the selling rate is NPR 4.19. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is NPR 37.04 and the selling rate is NPR 37.20.
One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at NPR 32.16 and sold at NPR 32.30. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 9.94 and the selling rate is NPR 9.98.
Similarly, one Swedish kronor is being traded at NPR 14.28 (buying) and NPR 14.34 (selling), while one Danish kronor is being bought at NPR 20.71 and sold at NPR 20.80.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB has stated that the exchange rates are subject to change as needed and that rates offered by commercial banks may vary. The latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
