Deuba to assume PM role after 14 months: PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has announced that he will step down from his position in 14 months.

Speaking briefly to the media at the Federal Parliament building on Friday, PM Oli said he plans to resign after the next 14 months.

He added that Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba will take over as Prime Minister following his resignation.

PM Oli’s remarks came in response to a question from the media about whether the current government would be presenting the upcoming budget.
