KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has joined the protest against the dismissal of Kulman Ghising, the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.

RSP MPs have expressed their support for the movement initiated by civil society.

RSP MP Sumana Shrestha participated in the demonstration at Naya Baneshwor, standing in solidarity with civil society protesters. Similarly, MP Ganesh Parajuli confirmed to Khabarhub that he also intends to join the movement.

“We are also going to show our support for the movement of civil society,” Parajuli said, adding that Shrestha and other party leaders had already reached the protest site.

The government’s decision to dismiss Ghising on Monday has sparked widespread opposition, with various political party-affiliated organizations taking to the streets in protest.
