Kulman Ghising holds legal consultation, skips office after dismissal



KATHMANDU: Kulman Ghising, the ousted Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), who has yet to receive his dismissal letter, did not report to the office today.

A meeting of the cabinet held on Monday decided to remove Kulman from his position and appoint Hitendra Dev Shakya as his successor.

However, Kulman stated that he has not received the official dismissal letter.

According to an official close to Kulman, he is currently consulting with legal professionals regarding the matter.

“He has not gone to the office and has not received the dismissal letter either,” the official said.
