Additionally, the price of gold saw a significant rise of Rs. 500 per tola, reaching Rs. 170,800, while silver prices also increased by Rs. 15 per tola.

Kalinchowk Darshan Limited appointed Nepal SBI Merchant Banking for the upcoming issuance of 60 lakh rights shares.

These developments suggest continued activity and growth within Nepal’s capital markets and financial sectors, despite modest fluctuations.

NEPSE records modest increase, closing at 2,755.40

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a slight increase on Monday, rising by 3.35 points (0.12%) to settle at 2,755.40, following a gain of 11.66 points in the previous session.

The trading began at 2,754.55, with the index fluctuating between a peak of 2,785.10 and a low of 2,746.

The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 11.08 billion, with 21,110,619 shares traded across 310 companies in 103,262 transactions.

Vacancy announced for NEPSE CEO

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has announced an open competition for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in relevant fields and at least 15 years of professional experience, including 7 years in a senior managerial role in the capital market or financial sector.

Candidates are required to submit an application, two passport-sized photos, a professional work plan, and pay an application fee of Rs. 7,500.

Gold price increases by Rs. 500 per tola

The price of gold increased on Monday, rising by 500 rupees per tola. Silver prices also increased.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has reached 170,800 rupees per tola.

Silver also saw a price hike, rising by 15 rupees per tola. The price of silver was 1,980 rupees per tola.

Kalinchowk Darshan selects Nepal SBI Merchant Banking for rights share issuance

Kalinchowk Darshan Limited has appointed Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited as the manager for its upcoming rights share issuance.
