KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley recorded the same minimum temperature on Wednesday as it did on Tuesday, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
Early morning measurements show that the chill in the Valley has remained steady, while further drops are expected later in the day.
According to the Division, the minimum temperature in the Valley was recorded at 5.5 degrees Celsius during the initial measurement taken at 5:45 am today. The minimum temperature at the same time yesterday was also 5.5 degrees Celsius.
However, the temperature dropped further in the later measurement on Tuesday, reaching 4.9 degrees Celsius at 8:45 am. The official minimum temperature for the day is recorded at 8:45 am, and today’s minimum temperature is also likely to decline further by that time.
The Division records the minimum temperature daily at 8:45 am and the maximum temperature at 6:45 pm. An initial minimum temperature reading is also taken at 5:45 am.
