NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 142.88, while the selling rate stands at Rs 143.48.

The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 164.49 and the selling rate is Rs 165.18. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 187.07 and sold at Rs 187.86, while the Swiss franc is priced at Rs 176.65 for buying and Rs 177.39 for selling.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 92.14 and the selling rate is Rs 92.53. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.32 and sold at Rs 101.75. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is Rs 109.35 and the selling rate is Rs 109.81. The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.14 and the selling rate is Rs 9.17.

Likewise, one Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.10 and sold at Rs 20.19. The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs 38.10 for buying and Rs 38.26 for selling, while the Qatari riyal has been set at Rs 39.21 for buying and Rs 39.37 for selling.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.41 and the selling rate is Rs 4.43. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 38.90 and sold at Rs 39.06. The Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 34.44 for buying and Rs 34.58 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.72, with a selling rate of Rs 9.76. One Swedish krona is priced at Rs 14.96 for buying and Rs 15.02 for selling, while the Danish kroner has been set at Rs 22.03 for buying and Rs 22.12 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.36 and the selling rate at Rs 18.44. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 464.83 and sold at Rs 466.78. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 378.99, with a selling rate of Rs 380.58, while the Omani rial is priced at Rs 371.60 for buying and Rs 373.16 for selling.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time if required. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated figures can be accessed on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s website.
