Nepse declines by 18 points, daily turnover exceeds Rs 6.54 billion



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) fell by 18 points on Sunday, closing at 2,739.95 points, down 0.65 percent.

During the trading session, 14,090,708 shares worth Rs 6.54 billion were traded.

At market close, share prices of 41 companies had increased, while 208 had declined. No company’s share price remained unchanged.

A total of 323 companies were traded throughout the day with 58,105 transactions recorded.

Out of the 13 trading groups, all except the manufacturing and processing sector closed lower.
