Dwarikadevi Thakurani Women’s Cricket tournament to begin Thursday



BAITADI: The Dwarikadevi Thakurani U-19 T20 State-level Women’s Cricket Tournament is set to kick off in Sudurpaschim Province from Thursday. The event is being organized by the Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association.

According to Laxman Dutta Bhatta, Secretary of the Association, teams from eight districts of the province will compete in the tournament.

The participating teams are divided into two groups: Group ‘A’ includes Kailali, Kanchanpur, Achham, and Bajhang, while Group ‘B’ comprises Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Doti, and Darchula.

All matches will be held at the Fapla Cricket Ground in Kailali. The tournament will open with a match between Kailali and Kanchanpur, informed Ramesh Bohara, Vice-President of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Cricket Association.
