Nepal Rastra Bank releases today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Tuesday). Some currencies have appreciated while others have depreciated.

According to NRB, the value of the Euro, British Pound, and Australian Dollar has decreased today compared to yesterday. However, certain other currencies have seen a slight increase in their exchange rate.

As per today’s data, the buying rate for 1 US Dollar is Rs. 131, and the selling rate is Rs. 138. This shows a consistent value compared to yesterday’s rate. Yesterday, the US Dollar was exchanged at Rs. 138 for selling and Rs. 131 for buying.

The Euro today is being bought at Rs. 159 and sold at Rs. 159.98, showing a slight decline from yesterday’s rates.

The British Pound today is being exchanged at Rs. 186 for both buying and selling. Yesterday, the Pound was exchanged at Rs. 186 as well, though there was a fluctuation in the market volume.

The Australian Dollar is being bought at Rs. 88 and sold at Rs. 90. Yesterday, it was exchanged at Rs. 86 for selling, indicating a minor increase.

The Kuwaiti Dinar has a commercial buying rate of Rs. 451.50 and a selling rate of Rs. 453.00, showing some stability in its value.

The Bahraini Dinar also maintains a steady commercial exchange rate today.

These rates are determined by the Nepal Rastra Bank and are applicable for commercial banks and authorized foreign exchange dealers.
