Road work underway on Nagdhunga–Naubise (In pictures)



KATHMANDU: The Nagdhunga–Naubise road section has been completely closed from today to facilitate construction work.

According to the project office, the road will remain fully closed daily from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, starting from May 24 to June 8, to carry out road construction and blacktopping works along the Nagdhunga–Pipalmod section.

The project has requested motorists to use alternative routes during the closure period. Small and medium vehicles are advised to take the Dharke–Sitapaila road, while heavy vehicles should use the Tokha–Chhahare road.

The notice also states that vehicles heading from Kathmandu will be stopped at Nagdhunga, while those coming from Naubise will be halted at Khanikhola.
