Gold price drops further today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has dropped further today, while the price of silver remains stable.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 600 per tola from Sunday’s rate, reaching Rs 173,500 today.

Gold, which reached its highest price ever last Wednesday, has been steadily declining for the past three days.

Yesterday, the price of gold stood at Rs 174,100, while last Wednesday it had peaked at Rs 176,000, the highest price recorded so far.

The Federation reports that the price of silver remains stable today. The price of gold, which fell by Rs 15 per tola yesterday to Rs 1,980 per tola, has also stabilized today.
