National Examination Board opens Class 12 annual exam application for 2026



KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has opened applications for the Class 12 annual examination for the academic session 2025/26. The board announced the application process on Tuesday, inviting both regular and partial students to apply.

Regular students can submit their application forms with a fee of Rs 800 by the end of Poush (January 14). Those unable to submit within this period can apply by January 29 by paying a late fee of Rs 1,600.

Students in subjects requiring external examiners, such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Hotel Management, must pay additional fees.

According to the board, students eligible for the regular examination must have registration numbers starting with 82, while partial students with registration numbers beginning with 79, 80, or 81 can also apply.

To qualify as a regular examinee, students must have achieved a minimum grade of ‘D’ in theoretical subjects and ‘C’ in internal or practical subjects in Class 11. Applicants are required to submit a copy of their Class 11 grade sheet and registration card along with the application form.
