Kathmandu Valley records sharp drop in minimum temperature



KAHTMANDU: Kathmandu Valley experienced a significant drop in its minimum temperature on Tuesday, falling by nearly 2°C compared to Monday.

The Weather Forecasting Division stated that the early morning temperature at 5:45 am was 5.5°C, down from 7.3°C at the same time on Monday. On Monday, the official minimum recorded at 8:45 am had further dropped to 6.8°C.

Authorities have said that today’s official minimum, also measured at 8:45 am, could register even lower than the early reading.
