Sandeep Lamichhane leaves for Bangladesh for BPL



KATHMANDU: Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has left for Bangladesh to take part in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He left for Dhaka via Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday.

Lamichhane has been signed by Rajshahi Warriors for the ongoing BPL season. This marks his second appearance in the tournament, having previously played for Sylhet Titans in 2019.

Announcing his inclusion, Rajshahi Warriors shared a photo of Lamichhane onboard a flight, referring to him as their “Spin King.”

The Rajshahi Warriors are captained by Bangladesh national team skipper Nazmul Hossain. The squad also features Jimmy Neesham, who recently played in the Nepal Premier League.
