KATHMANDU: A group of pro-monarchy demonstrators chanted slogans in front of injured Gen-Z protesters gathered at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu.

The situation briefly grew tense after the group began shouting “We want a king,” leading to an exchange of words between the two sides.

Police deployed at the scene intervened and prevented both groups from escalating the dispute.
