Gold and silver prices rise slightly



KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver increased slightly in the local market today, influenced by growing demand and rising rates in the international market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of one tola of gold has been set at Rs 244,600 today. Last Friday, gold was traded at Rs 241,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 3,135 per tola, compared to Rs 3,100 per tola on Friday.

International media report that one ounce of gold is currently being traded at Rs 4,063, while one ounce of silver is being traded at US$ 51 in the international market today.
