Man beaten to death



JHAPA: A youth died after a dispute with locals at Birtamod municipality-5 in the district last night.

After a severe dispute, the locals beat up Jagan Rajbanshi, 30, causing his death. Attacked and left to die, Rajbanshi was rushed to B and C Hospital, Birtamod, but the doctors announced him dead.

Deputy Superintendent of Police in the district, Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, informed that Hem Bahadur Chaudhari, 26, was taken under control from Shivashatakshi municipality-7 from Jhapa in connection with the killing. Further investigation into the incident is underway
