KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying and selling rates for one US dollar have both been fixed at Rs 141.
The buying rate for one Euro is Rs 166.02, and the selling rate is Rs 166.73. Similarly, one UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs 190.32 and sold at Rs 191.13. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc is Rs 177.63, while the selling rate is Rs 178.
Likewise, one Australian Dollar is being bought at Rs 92.99 and sold at Rs 93.39. The buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is Rs 102.13, and the selling rate is Rs 102.56. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is Rs 109.89 and the selling rate is Rs 110.
Ten Japanese Yen are being bought at Rs 9.54 and sold at Rs 9.58. One Chinese Yuan is being bought at Rs 19.82 and sold at Rs 19.91. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is trading at Rs 37.59 (buying) and Rs 37.75 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is at Rs 38.69 and Rs 38.85, respectively.
Similarly, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.44 and selling rate of Rs 4.46. The UAE Dirham is being bought at Rs 38.39 and sold at Rs 38.55. One Malaysian Ringgit is trading at Rs 33.55 (buying) and Rs 33.69 (selling).
The South Korean Won stands at Rs 10.13 (buying) and Rs 10.17 (selling). The Swedish Kronor is trading at Rs 15.02 (buying) and Rs 15.08 (selling), and the Danish Kronor at Rs 22.24 and Rs 22.34, respectively.
The Hong Kong Dollar is being bought at Rs 18.14 and sold at Rs 18.22. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of Rs 462.37 and a selling rate of Rs 464.34. The Bahraini Dinar is trading at Rs 373.96 (buying) and Rs 375.55 (selling), and the Omani Rial at Rs 366.21 and Rs 367.76, respectively.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the bank’s official website.
