KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a meeting of its Central Committee today at the party’s central office in Banasthali, party spokesperson Manish Jha said.

According to Jha, seven key agenda items have been finalized for discussion. The meeting will focus on the current political situation, reports from recent provincial gatherings, and feedback from central members, all within the context of Nepal’s evolving political landscape.

The agenda includes a review of the prevailing political environment and the objectives of the meeting, followed by the presentation of reports from provincial meetings by their respective chairpersons. Central committee members will also share their perspectives on the party’s strategy in light of recent developments.

Additional discussions will cover matters related to party organization and departments, strategic planning for the upcoming House of Representatives elections, and preparations for the party’s historic General Convention. Miscellaneous issues will also be addressed.

This meeting is expected to play a critical role in shaping the party’s organizational framework and electoral strategy ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for March 2026.
