Internal disputes risk undermining past achievements: Deputy Prime Minister Singh

JALESHWAR: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has warned that internal disputes could jeopardize the achievements gained so far.

Speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed Jaleshwar Multipurpose Building in Jaleshwar Municipality–1, Mahottari, Singh stated that the Nepali Congress had played a crucial role in establishing a federal democratic republic in Nepal. However, he expressed concern that growing internal conflicts within the party now threaten to erode those achievements.

He pointed out that blame games and internal mudslinging have weakened the party organization, which could directly impact the federal democratic system. Singh stressed that in such a situation, strengthening the party should be the top priority.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need for unity, coordination, and collaboration among all party leaders and members to reinforce the organization. He also acknowledged the current crisis in the Madhesh region regarding drinking water and irrigation, noting that the federal government has already decided to take concrete action and will work on finding alternative solutions.

Singh expressed hope that the newly built multipurpose building, supported by the Ministry of Urban Development, would serve the people of Jaleshwar Municipality effectively.
