NEPSE edges up slightly, closes at 2,600 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a slight rise on Monday, gaining 4.78 points to close at 2,600.

During the day’s trading, shares worth approximately NPR 6.47 billion were transacted, involving 175.87 million units.

Out of 325 companies that saw trading activity, share prices increased for 123 firms, decreased for 124, and remained unchanged for one.

A total of 70,831 transactions were recorded throughout the day.

Among the 13 sectoral indices, 7 closed in the green while 6 ended in the red.
