JHAPA: Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of raping a 28-year-old woman in Kachankawal Rural Municipality-6, Pallabari.
According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, the suspect, Hardev Yadav, was taken into custody on Sunday evening based on a complaint filed by the victim.
The arrest was made by a team deployed from the District Police Office and Area Police Office, Baniyani.
Police have initiated further investigation into the case.
