Ghulam Ali performing in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Famous Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali is set to perform in Nepal.

Ghazal singer Ali will perform at the ‘Ghulam Ali :Three Generations on One Stage’ program at The Plaza in Pulchowk, Lalitpur on March 15, shared the chair of the organizer, Sadhana Kala Kendra, Milan Moktan.

Ghazal singer Ali will perform along with his son Aamir Ghulam Ali and grandson Nazir Ghulam Ali. Ghazal singer Ali is scheduled to arrive Kathmandu on March 4.

Musician Deepak Jangam expressed his belief that Ghazal singer Ali’s program will boost Nepali ghazal singers.

“Just like the audience who wants to listen to him live, musicians also dream working with him. That is why this program is equally important for the musicians as well as the audience,” he said.

Ghazal singer Ali has also sung songs and ghazals in Nepali language including the very popular ‘Gajalu Ti Thula thula Aankha’, ‘Kina Kina Timro Tasbir, ‘Lolaeka Ti Thula’, ‘Ke Chha Ra Diun’, and ‘Nidharma’.
