Meetings of three parliamentary committees scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: Three committees under the federal parliament are set to convene today.

The Industry, Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee; the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee; and the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will hold their respective meetings.

The meeting of the Industry, Commerce and Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar. The agenda includes discussions with officials from the Nepal Medical Association and the Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal.

Similarly, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee will meet at 11 a.m. in Singha Durbar. The meeting will focus on discussions with the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security regarding specific provisions of a bill amending certain Nepal Acts.

The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee is also set to meet at 11:30 a.m. The committee plans to hold clause-wise discussions on the “Federal Civil Service Formation, Operation, and Terms of Service Bill, 2080.”
