Nepal Sambat fosters culture: Vice President Yadav



KATHMANDU: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav extended his best wishes to all Nepali brothers and sisters, both at home and abroad, on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1146 today.

In his message, Vice President Yadav wished for peace, prosperity, and happiness for all. He emphasized that Nepal Sambat has played a vital role in promoting tolerance, reconciliation, and fraternity across the country.

“I hope Nepal Sambat will inspire everyone to work towards national unity, integrity, and sovereignty on this special occasion,” he said, paying tribute to the national luminary Shankhadhar Sakhwa.

The Vice President further acknowledged Shankhadhar Sakhwa’s legacy, highlighting his efforts not only in liberating poor farmers from debt but also in fostering a dignified way of life—an inspiring milestone in Nepal’s history.
