Agriculture Minister Pariyar pledges to end fertilizer shortages



KATHMANDU: Dr. Madan Pariyar has assumed office as the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development.

After taking the oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas, Minister Pariyar formally took charge of the ministry on Monday.

Upon assuming office, Minister Pariyar pledged to resolve the recurring problem of fertilizer shortages faced by farmers each year.

He further said that, in line with the government’s commitment, focus would be placed on ensuring the successful conduct of the elections scheduled for Falgun 21.

Pariyar also expressed his determination to work together with ministry staff to eliminate irregularities seen across the sector.
