Second cabinet expansion: Priority order of Ministers announced



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expanded her Cabinet for the second time.

Appointed as head of the interim government on Bhadra 27, she administered the oath of office to four ministers on Monday.

With this, the interim Cabinet led by Karki now has seven ministers. She has announced plans to expand it further into an 11-member team.

Following the second expansion, Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal remains second in the order of precedence.

Energy Minister Kulman Ghising has been placed third, while Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal ranks fourth.

Former Supreme Court Justice Anil Kumar Sinha, newly appointed as Minister for Industry, is ranked fifth.

Education Minister Mahabir Pun has been placed sixth, Agriculture Minister Dr. Madan Kumar Pariyar seventh, and Communications Minister Jagadish Kharel eighth in the Cabinet hierarchy.
