RSP calls Central Committee meeting to discuss political strategy and upcoming election



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a meeting of its Central Committee for Tuesday morning at 8 AM at the party’s central office in Banasthali, party spokesperson Manish Jha informed on Sunday.

According to Jha, seven key agenda items have been finalized for the session. The meeting will deliberate on the current political situation, reports from provincial gatherings, and feedback from central members in light of the changing political context.

It will begin with a review of the current political scenario and the objectives of the meeting. This will be followed by the presentation of reports from provincial meetings by the respective chairpersons.

Central committee members will also share their opinions on the party’s strategy amid the altered political environment, party sources clamed.

Further discussions will focus on the organization and various departments of the party, the strategy for the upcoming House of Representatives elections, and preparations for the party’s historic General Convention. Miscellaneous matters will also be addressed during the meeting.

The session is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the party’s organizational direction and electoral strategy ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for March 2026.
