KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 140.65, while the selling rate is NPR 141.25.
For the euro, the buying rate is NPR 165.20 and the selling rate is NPR 165.91. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling stands at NPR 189.46, with a selling rate of NPR 190.26. Similarly, the Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 176.80 and sold at NPR 177.55.
Likewise, the Australian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 92.74 and selling rate NPR 93.14. The Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 102.06 and sold at NPR 102.50. The Singapore dollar is being bought at NPR 109.47 and sold at NPR 109.94.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.51, and the selling rate is NPR 9.55. For the Chinese yuan, the buying rate is NPR 19.77 and the selling rate is NPR 19.85. The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at NPR 37.50 and sold at NPR 37.66, while the Qatari riyal’s buying rate is NPR 38.59 and selling rate NPR 38.75.
The central bank has set the buying rate for the Thai baht at NPR 4.42 and the selling rate at NPR 4.44. The UAE dirham is being bought at NPR 38.29 and sold at NPR 38.46. For the Malaysian ringgit, the buying rate is NPR 33.43 and the selling rate is NPR 33.57.
Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 10.07 and the selling rate is NPR 10.11. The Swedish kronor is being bought at NPR 14.95 and sold at NPR 15.01, while the Danish kronor is being bought at NPR 22.13 and sold at NPR 22.23.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at NPR 18.09 and the selling rate at NPR 18.17. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 461.37 and sold at NPR 463.34. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of NPR 373.00 and a selling rate of NPR 374.59. The Omani rial is being bought at NPR 365.30 and sold at NPR 366.85.
Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change as needed. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
