National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) is scheduled to convene at 12:15 PM today.

In today’s meeting, ministers ate scheduled to respond to oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Additionally, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, is expected to present a proposal to consider the Intangible Cultural Heritage (Preservation) Bill, 2081.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is slated to propose a discussion on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, which was received from the House of Representatives along with the report from the Legislative Management Committee. A tentative agenda has been set to discuss and pass the bill.
