Today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Saturday).

The exchange rates of major foreign currencies, including the US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Bahraini Dinar, have declined. These currencies have been on a continuous downward trend for the past four days.

As of today, the buying rate of 1 US Dollar is 137 rupees 26 paisa, while the selling rate is 137 rupees 86 paisa. Yesterday, the buying and selling rates were 137 rupees 90 paisa and 138 rupees 50 paisa, respectively.

Similarly, the buying rate of 1 Euro today is 148 rupees 80 paisa, while the selling rate is 149 rupees 45 paisa. Yesterday, the Euro was exchanged at 149 rupees 52 paisa (buying) and 150 rupees 17 paisa (selling).

Likewise, 1 Pound Sterling is being traded at 177 rupees 67 paisa (buying) and 178 rupees 45 paisa (selling), compared to yesterday’s rates of 178 rupees 68 paisa (buying) and 179 rupees 46 paisa (selling).

The exchange rate of the Australian Dollar has also decreased, with 1 Australian Dollar being traded at 86 rupees 36 paisa (buying) and 86 rupees 73 paisa (selling).

Yesterday, the buying and selling rates were 86 rupees 69 paisa and 87 rupees 07 paisa, respectively.

Similarly, the Kuwaiti Dinar is being exchanged at 445 rupees 45 paisa (buying) and 447 rupees 39 paisa (selling), which is lower than yesterday’s rates of 447 rupees 67 paisa (buying) and 449 rupees 62 paisa (selling).

The Bahraini Dinar has also seen a decline in value, with today’s buying rate set at 364 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate at 365 rupees 71 paisa.

Nepal Rastra Bank updates foreign exchange rates daily based on international market trends, reflecting ongoing fluctuations in global currency values.
