BAGLUNG: A regular motorable bridge constructed at the cost of over Rs 131.2 million has been brought into operation since this week.

With this, it has become convenient for the general public to reach big cities, including the province capital Pokhara from South Baglung.

Jaimini Municipality-1 and Falebas Municipality-6 of Parbat district are connected with the bridge coming into operation.

Krishna Bahadur Thapa of Jaimini Municipality-5 said the construction of the bridge over the Kaligandaki has made it easier to transport goods and travel.

He said that the distance to reach Pokhara has now been reduced by 30 kilometers while traveling through the bridge.
