NRB releases today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Sunday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 142.54, while the selling rate is Rs 143.14.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is Rs 166.94 and the selling rate is Rs 167.65. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 190.63 and sold at Rs 191.44, while the buying and selling rates of one Swiss franc stand at Rs 179.17 and Rs 179.93, respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 94.16 and the selling rate is Rs 94.56. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 103.30 and sold at Rs 103.74, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 110.28 and sold at Rs 110.74.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.06 and the selling rate is Rs 9.10. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.24 and sold at Rs 20.33. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 38.16, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.12 and sold at Rs 39.28.

According to the bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.53 and sold at Rs 4.55. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 38.81 and the selling rate is Rs 38.97. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 34.96 and sold at Rs 35.11.

The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean won are Rs 9.64 and Rs 9.68, respectively. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.30 and sold at Rs 15.37, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 22.34 and sold at Rs 22.44.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.32 and the selling rate is Rs 18.40. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 464.04 and sold at Rs 466.00. The buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar are Rs 378.06 and Rs 379.65, respectively. One Omani rial is being bought at Rs 370.23 and sold at Rs 371.79.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. Exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s website.
