Share investor Dipendra Agrawal arrested in fraud case



KATHMANDU: Share investor Dipendra Agrawal has been arrested on fraud charges. According to police, Agrawal was taken into custody for allegedly defrauding over Rs 64.5 million.

Spokesperson of Maharajgunj Police Circle, Apil Bohora, confirmed the arrest, stating that Agrawal faces charges related to fraud and criminal breach of trust.

“He was arrested in connection with a fraud case involving deception in share transactions and criminal misconduct,” Bohora said.

The arrest was made following a formal complaint lodged against Agrawal. Police have said further investigation into the case is ongoing.
