Sudurpashchim Royals retain six players for NPL 2



KATHMANDU: Sudurpashchim Royals, the runners-up of the inaugural season Nepal Premier League (NPL), have retained six key players ahead of the second season.

The team has once again retained national team vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee as their marquee player. Alongside him, Binod Bhandari, Aarif Sheikh, Abinash Bohara, Ishan Pandey, and Naren Saud have also been secured for the new campaign.

Before the new season, Sudurpashchim Royals have released several players, signaling a restructuring plan for the team. Among the released players are Arjun Kumal, Naresh Budhathoki, Khadak Bahadur Bohara, Bhojraj Bhatt, Amit Shrestha, and Basanta Khatri.

The Royals expressed their gratitude towards the released players for their contributions and wished them success in their future endeavors.

The team is also preparing to give opportunities to fresh talent through upcoming trials and the player draft.
