Gold price sets new record at Rs 191,000 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has once again reached a new record high in the Nepali market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold surged by Rs 1,200 per tola on Monday, reaching an all-time high of Rs 191,000 per tola.

This surpasses the previous record set on Baisakh 4, when the price had jumped by Rs 3,600, peaking at Rs 190,600 per tola.

Just a day earlier, on Sunday, gold was being traded at Rs 189,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged. It is trading at Rs 1,960 per tola, the same as on Sunday.
