Three parliamentary committees holding meetings today



KATHMANDU: Three committees under the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today at Singha Durbar.

The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will convene at 11 a.m. to discuss the report prepared by its subcommittee regarding the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080, which outlines provisions related to the formation, operation, and service conditions of the federal civil service.

Similarly, the Legislative Management Committee is set to meet at 1 p.m. in its designated meeting room to conduct a clause-wise discussion on the Ships (Operation and Management) Bill, 2081.

At 1:45 p.m., the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will hold its session to deliberate on the committee’s role in the implementation of the Legislation Act, 2081.
