KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for Monday.
As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at 136 rupees 30 paisa, while the selling rate stands at 136 rupees 90 paisa.
The euro is being traded at a buying rate of 155 rupees 28 paisa and a selling rate of 155 rupees 96 paisa.
Similarly, the pound sterling is set at 181 rupees 23 paisa for buying and 182 rupees 03 paisa for selling.
The Swiss franc is being exchanged at 166 rupees 98 paisa on the buying end and 167 rupees 72 paisa on the selling side.
The Australian dollar is priced at 86 rupees 91 paisa for buying and 87 rupees 29 paisa for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at 98 rupees 42 paisa for buying and 98 rupees 86 paisa for selling.
Likewise, the Singapore dollar is fixed at 103 rupees 95 paisa (buying) and 104 rupees 41 paisa (selling).
For regional currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at 9 rupees 59 paisa for buying and 9 rupees 63 paisa for selling.
One Chinese yuan is set at 18 rupees 67 paisa on the buying end and 18 rupees 75 paisa on the selling end. Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at 36 rupees 33 paisa for buying and 36 rupees 49 paisa for selling, and the Qatari riyal at 37 rupees 39 paisa and 37 rupees 56 paisa respectively.
The Thai baht’s rate has been fixed at 4 rupees 08 paisa for buying and 4 rupees 10 paisa for selling.
The UAE dirham is trading at 37 rupees 11 paisa (buying) and 37 rupees 28 paisa (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is listed at 30 rupees 88 paisa and 31 rupees 02 paisa respectively.
One hundred South Korean won are valued at 9 rupees 57 paisa for buying and 9 rupees 62 paisa for selling.
The Swedish kronor stands at 14 rupees 15 paisa (buying) and 14 rupees 21 paisa (selling), while the Danish kronor is priced at 20 rupees 80 paisa and 20 rupees 89 paisa respectively.
As per the central bank, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is set at 17 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 64 paisa.
Likewise, the Kuwaiti dinar is trading at 444 rupees 54 paisa for buying and 446 rupees 50 paisa for selling.
The Bahraini dinar is fixed at 361 rupees 54 paisa and 363 rupees 13 paisa respectively, while the Omani rial is valued at 354 rupees 49 paisa on the buying end and 356 rupees 05 paisa on the selling end.
Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees for buying and 160 rupees 15 paisa for selling.
