Eight areas in Lalitpur to face 2-hour electricity outage today



LALITPUR: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a temporary power outage in several areas of Lalitpur today.

According to a notice issued by the Authority, electricity will be cut in areas under the Patan feeder of the Pulchowk Distribution Center.

As per the notice, power will be disrupted in Bhani Mandal, Ekantakuna, Lamachaur, Summit Hotel, Bakhundol, Old Minister Quarter, Jhamsikhel, and Arun Thapa Chowk from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM today.

The outage is necessary for technical work at the 132 kV substation in Patan, as stated by the NEA.

The Authority has assured customers that efforts will be made to complete the work ahead of schedule and restore power as soon as possible.
