One killed, two injured in motorcycle collision in Bhaktapur



KATHMANDU: One person was killed and two others were injured in a motorcycle collision at Nalinchowk, Suryabinayak Municipality-9, Bhaktapur, last night.

According to the Bhaktapur District Traffic Police Range, the accident occurred when three motorcycles coming from opposite directions collided.

Twenty-one-year-old Timba Dorje Tamang of Sunapati Rural Municipality-4, Ramechhap, sustained serious injuries and died during treatment at Iwamura Hospital.

Among the injured, 24-year-old Sajan Tamang of Kakrabari, Suryabinayak Municipality-9, is in critical condition and is receiving treatment at Madhyapur Hospital in Thimi. Meanwhile, 39-year-old Tikaram Shrestha of Manthali Municipality-11, Ramechhap, was treated and has been discharged from the hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
