Organised jointly by Bagmati, Special and Contact provinces, the rally will take place at Bhrikutimandap starting at 12 noon. Senior party leaders are scheduled to address the gathering.

According to the NCP, party leaders and cadres will assemble at Sundhara, New Road and Ratna Park before marching through Bagbazar, Putalisadak and Padmodaya Chowk to Bhrikutimandap, where the programme will culminate in a mass meeting. The party has claimed that more than 50,000 people will participate in the rally.

The gathering will be addressed by party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, co-coordinator Madhav Nepal, and senior leaders including Jhalanath Khanal, Bhim Rawal and Bamdev Gautam.
