NEPSE dips slightly as turnover reaches Rs 4.68 billion



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) edged down by a marginal 0.93 points on Thursday, with total transactions amounting to Rs 4.68 billion.

Out of all the companies traded today, the share prices of 138 companies declined, while 112 recorded gains. Six companies saw no change in their stock prices.

Investors selling shares of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Microfinance earned the highest profit today, whereas sellers of Bungal Hydropower incurred the most significant losses.

Despite the slight dip in the benchmark index, the sub-indices of Hotels & Tourism, Hydropower, Manufacturing & Processing, Microfinance, Others, and Trading closed in positive territory, while the remaining sectors ended negative.
