Weather to remain mainly fair today

KATHMANDU: The country is expected to experience mainly fair conditions today, with partly cloudy skies anticipated over the hilly and mountainous regions.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light rain or brief snowfall may occur at one or two locations in the higher elevations of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, though no widespread precipitation is expected.

Meteorologists say that no significant weather system is currently influencing Nepal, resulting in stable atmospheric conditions across most regions.

Despite the generally fair outlook, the Division has advised travellers in high-altitude areas to remain cautious, as localized rain or snowfall could temporarily affect visibility and road conditions.
