Govt. releases Rs 10 billion for concessional loan interest subsidy



KATHMANDU: The government has released around Rs 10 billion for interest subsidies on concessional loans.

According to the Ministry of Finance, a total of Rs 9.8 billion has been disbursed under the Integrated Procedure on Concessional Loan Interest Subsidy, 2082 for the current fiscal year.

A ministry statement issued by Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Tank Prasad Pandey said the allocation was adjusted from the second to the first quarter, enabling Nepal Rastra Bank to reimburse interest subsidies provided over the past seven quarters.
